The Director of Planning has requested you be advised that this development application was withdrawn by the applicant on December 19, 2022.


Wonderworld Montessori Academy has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • To perform interior and exterior alterations on all levels, add to and change the use from the existing grocery store to Child Day Care facility for 115 children
  • A height of 11.4 m (37.7 ft.) to the top of the stair roof
  • A floor space ratio of 1.16 (11,663 sq. ft.)
  • 1 level of underground parking with 19 spaces having access from the lane

Under the site’s existing C-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
