We would like your feedback on a rezoning application at 2929 Commercial Dr. The proposal is to allow for the development of a six-storey mixed-used building, with office and training space for the Vancouver Elementary and Secondary School Teachers Associations. The zoning would change from C-2C1 (Commercial) to CD-1 (Comprehensive Development) District. This proposal includes:

  • VESTA/VSTA office space
  • Teacher training and community serving space
  • 27 social housing units
  • One commercial retail unit at-grade
  • A floor space ratio (FSR) of 2.65
  • A floor area of 3,032 sq. m (32,637 sq. ft.)
  • A building height of 18.75 m (61.5 ft.)
  • 25 vehicle parking spaces and 58 bicycle parking spaces

The application is being considered under the Kensington-Cedar Cottage Community Vision.
