The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on May 10, 2023.

Regeneration Design Studio has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • To reposition on-site, build a new foundation and convert the existing one-family character dwelling to a Multiple Conversion Dwelling (Building 1) containing three dwelling units
  • A new one family infill dwelling (Building 2) at the rear of the site to include one garage parking space and one surface stall both having vehicular access from the lane
  • A proposed total Floor Space Ratio of 0.85 for the site (Approximately 5,603.91 sq. ft.)
    • 0.63 FSR for the existing house (Building 1)
    • 0.22 FSR for the infill house (Building 2)
  • Proposing total heights of approximately
    • 31.69 ft. (Building 1)
    • 25.02 ft. (Building 2)

Under the site’s existing RS-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
