Gradual Architecture has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to add, alter and convert this existing single detached house to a Multiple Conversion Dwelling (Building 1) containing four dwelling units and, to develop an infill duplex (Building 2) at the rear of the site, consisting of:
A total height of approximately 34 ft. for Building 1 and 28 ft. for Building 2
A total floor space ratio 0.47 (approximately 72,500 sq. ft.) for Building 1 and 0.19 (approximately 2,900 sq. ft.) for Building 2
Four parking spaces having vehicular access from West 49th Avenue
Under the site’s existing R1-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
