The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on August 3, 2021.
WA Architecture Ltd. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop this site, in tandem with DP-2020-00235, North – 2543-2583 Renfrew St and 2895 East 10th Ave. The proposal consists of:
- Eight-storey, mixed-use building
- Secure market rental units, with 20% of the floor area permanently secured for moderate income households
- Commercial at grade
- Two levels of underground parking
- Total Floor Space Ratio (FSR) of 3.59
- Approximately 80,562 sq.ft. of floor area
Under the existing RS-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
