The Director of Planning approved the application on August 11, 2021, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


Schmidt & Associates Development Planning Ltd has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop a three-storey Motor Vehicle Repair Shop with ancillary Office consisting of:

  • A proposed height of 16.2 m (53 ft.)
  • A proposed Floor Space Ratio of 2.0 (2,190 m² / 23,572 sq. ft.)
  • Three levels of underground parking

Under the site’s existing IC-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
