The Director of Planning approved this application, and a Development Permit was issued on December 9, 2024.

Mallen Gowing Berzins Architecture Inc., has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission for interior alterations, to divide unit #101 into two units, use of the main floor as General Office, and change of use of the basement level from General Office to Production Studio, at the above-noted address, consisting of:

• Proposed hours of operation: 8 am to 12 am, seven days a week
• To provide secure rental production spaces to musical artists for writing, recording, and engineering music

Under the site’s existing HA-2 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
