An appeal was heard by the Board of Variance on September 13, 2022 and was ALLOWED, thereby overturning the decision of the Director of Planning.  A Development Permit was issued on September 23, 2022.


Van Land Use Consulting has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop the following on this site:

  • To expand the existing retail Liquor Store – Type 2 into the adjacent retail space by approximately 870 sq. ft. in the existing two-storey mixed-use building

Under the site’s existing C-1 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
