137 E 37th Ave (DP-2018-00347) temporary modular housing development application

The Director of Planning approved this application on May 20, 2021.  


The Vancouver Affordable Housing Agency (VAHA) has applied to the City of Vancouver for an extension of the following on this site until November 30, 2021:

  • One three-storey temporary modular housing building containing 46 social housing units
  • A Floor Space Ratio of 0.97 (approximately 21,991 sq.ft.)
  • A maximum building height of 38 ft.

Under the site’s existing RM-3A zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.
