The Director of Planning approved the application on November 4, 2021, subject to conditions.  A Development Permit may be issued once all conditions have been satisfied. For more information, please see the Prior-to letter under "Application documents"


G. Westover Management Ltd. has applied to the City of Vancouver for permission to develop a two-storey two-family dwelling on this site, consisting of:

  • Total height of approximately 30 ft.
  • Total Floor Space Ratio: 0.6 (approximately 2,217 sq. ft.)
  • A detached accessory building (garage) at the rear providing two parking spaces having vehicular access from the lane

Under the site’s existing RT-10 zoning, the application is “conditional” so it may be permitted. However, it requires the decision of the Director of Planning.

Review of design guidelines applicable to one and two family dwellings in this district has been streamlined as per the Council report of June 8, 2021. This is a temporary measure for one year.
